Zawoja – why it's worth visiting this place?
Silence and tranquility, clean air, and mountains stretching out the window - such a morning is a dream for many of us. While on vacation in Zawoja, you can enjoy a beautiful view every day! However, this is not the only reason to visit. The main attraction is, of course, Babia Góra, which stands at an altitude of 1725 m above sea level, making it the highest peak of the Beskids. Fortunately, there are several trails leading to it, allowing both climbing enthusiasts and those who are less active in their daily lives to reach the summit. If you want to admire exceptionally beautiful views while climbing to the top, the picturesque route from Przełęcz Krowiarki – Diablak – Przełęcz Brona – Markowe Szczawiny is the best choice.
If you are not a fan of climbing and long walks, a great alternative is the nearly 14 km long bike trails. This is an excellent attraction for all cyclists, especially since some of the trails extend beyond the borders of Poland, all the way to Slovakia.

One of them is the Zbójnicka Chapel, which, according to legend, was built by bandits to show that they regret their sins. A great place for a walk with little ones is Hala Barankowa, where, with a bit of luck, you can see grazing sheep along with beautiful views.
